The Knox County Criminal Court Clerk provides a convenient, detailed, and local criminal history search package for $15.00.

Background Search Packages

Included with the $15.00 package, are three distinct background searches by first/last name, an alias first/last name and a social security number.
Any additional alias first/last name searches will be completed at a rate of $5.00 per search alias.

For us to run a background search, we will need a social security, date of birth, name(s) and alias you are wanting to search. We will also need an email or phone number for us to contact you. You may provide this information to us by calling or emailing us.

Abuse Registry - The Tennessee Department of Health is required by state law and federal regulations to maintain a registry of persons who have abused, neglected, or misappropriated personal property of a vulnerable person who is under eighteen (18) years of age, or who, by reason of advanced age or other physical or mental condition is vulnerable to abuse, neglect or misappropriation of property and who was, at the time of such determination, in the care of:

  1. A state agency;
  2. An entity which is licensed or regulated by a state agency; or,
  3. An entity under the provisions of a contract between that entity and a state agency.

Allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of personal property against individuals are investigated thoroughly. Due process is afforded to all accused persons before placement is made.
