 Knoxville, Tenn. - Community partners are encouraging eligible individuals to register for the upcoming Saturday, September 12th Driver's License Reinstatement Event, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the City County Building. This initiative focuses on helping participants navigate the driver's license reinstatement process and remove barriers to obtaining a valid license. 

The event is made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Knox County Criminal Court Clerk's Office, Knox County General Sessions Court Judges, Knox City Municipal Court, the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, and community partners who work together to guide participants through the reinstatement process. By providing information, resources, and individualized assistance, organizers aim to help eligible individuals take the necessary steps toward restoring their driving privileges. 

"Interest in this event continues to grow, and we're excited to welcome participants from Knox County and surrounding communities," said Knox County Criminal Court Clerk Mike Hammond. "Our partners work seamlessly to make this process as smooth as possible, helping participants overcome barriers and understand the requirements needed to reinstate their driver's licenses. This collaborative effort can make a meaningful difference for individuals and families throughout our community."
