County of Knox, TN — February 23, 2023: Led by Clerk Mike Hammond, the Knox County Criminal, General Sessions Criminal, and Fourth Circuit courts have partnered with PayIt to launch KnoxCourtPay, an intuitive digital experience that provides their residents secure, quick, and efficient means to make payments.

“The goal is to make it easier, simpler, and more efficient for the citizens to pay their costs, fees, and fines and to give them more flexibility in making payments,” said Clerk Mike Hammond. “We also wanted better reporting for our auditors and Knox County.”

KnoxCourtPay features include simple options for viewing and managing resident case or citation details such as court date, the amount due, and payment scheduling. In the future, payment plans will also be offered.

KnoxCourtPay also sends residents payment confirmation via email and notifications and reminders regarding their citations and cases. In addition, residents can also securely save their payment information for future use and review transaction history.

“All of these features benefit our residents: 24-hour service, more flexibility in payments, more information in their accounts, and more efficiency in making those payments,” said Hammond.

Residents will be able to access the solution in multiple ways. Payment channels for KnoxCourtPay include:
